Vol. 5: The Excess Information Age? April 28th, 2024
I’ve been trying to find ways to talk about the last month without coming off as “Woe is me,” because there are people going through times that are much worse than we are. However, I feel that our experiences are valuable, in large part because we have found comfort from similar experiences that others have posted online. It’s important to share our experiences, even if they’re challenging, because you never know who might gain insight from what you’ve been through.
Vol. 4: Here Comes Baby Bondy! April 17th, 2024
Deciding to bring life into this world is an expression of arrogance. It feels like we’re telling the world “We’ve got life so well figured out that we can continue to thrive while not sleeping, giving 50% of my effort to simply keeping someone else alive, and giving the other 50% to trying to figure out what in the world ‘gentle parenting’ means.”
Vol. 3: Sleep…working? May 18th, 2023

Vol. 2: Today is Valentine’s Day. Feb. 14th, 2022
Today is Valentine’s Day. I type this blog, and my wife studies next to me. She knows how osmosis works, but it seems like she believes that if she concentrates hard enough, she can bypass physics, and she force the data from her computer across the blood-brain barrier, into her neurons. And maybe, just maybe, if she concentrates hard enough, it’ll stick.
Vol. 1: “So you’re like an actual adult?” Jan. 6th, 2022
In this series I’ll give some updates on our lives, and not that anyone asked, but I’ll also put my filter on various situations we experience. This edition focuses on how medical students view married medical students, and may or may not include money-making career advice.
